Saferep Life Management Tools is an online community where people mobilize to access all the pertinent information they will need in case of any event pertaining to their welfare and security.  At Saferep we empower our members to be in control over their information and to be prepared in case of any emergency from natural disasters to personal violations to missing persons.   

At its core, Saferep is a user-centric, technology-driven company, devoted to delivering smart, easy-to-use applications for the management and maintenance of our members’ pertinent information, enabling members to manage and streamline the countless administrative facets of life through our online application. Saferep does this by providing members with the ability to organize their information and collaborate with others in such a way as to achieve the optimum potential from their personal information.       

First, Saferep Life Management Tools provides members with a means to secure, centralize, organize and archive all of their personal information such as financial data, personal health records, asset information, deadlines, expirations and renewals, making these conveniently accessible, anywhere and anytime.

Next, Saferep has created new innovative technology to allow members to ensure their records through LifeMinder™, which automatically and seamlessly provides relevant information, reminders and recommendations tailored to individual members according to their needs. For example, a member may receive important information regarding applicable FDA drug recalls, auto recalls, or Mortgage Monitor all through LifeMinder™, saving both time and effort for the user while ensuring the reception of timely information.   

Finally, Saferep Life Management Tools makes it easy and efficient for members to collaborate with others regarding their records. Members can allow others to view and/or update specific aspects of their personal information, filtering the amount of information access allowed to each respective individual. For example, a member can give a tax accountant access to his or her income data, while allowing an insurance agent to view a property deed and permitting the family doctor the ability to update his or her personal health record, perhaps even providing time-sensitive information to a 9-1-1 professional in an emergency. In this way, a member has the ability to create an individualized network of professionals that can serve them to the fullest capacity in an intelligently informed manner.

Secure: Saferep Life Management Tools is dedicated to keeping our members’ information as secure as possible. Saferep uses  Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits using GOV-level AES encryption which stores all content in 448-bit Blowfish encrypted form on our multi-location, fully redundant Saferep servers.  Saferep’s solutions fit within standard existing network infrastructures; firewalls, encryption, controlled access between users and network integrity are all built into the framework.

Collaboration: Saferep Life Management Tools provides a vehicle for doctors, HIPPA-compliant hospitals and law enforcement to obtain access to potentially life-saving information at our members’ discretion. Saferep leverages the built- in scalability of Rails to ensure the service can always keep pace with a growing customer base.

Open source standards-based Web Technologies: Saferep software is an AJAX-rich, fast-loading and reliable web application based on Ruby on Rails 1.2 framework.  Saferep’s core technology creates a universal, open exchange. For maximum browser compatibility and standards compliance we use XHTML 1.0 and CSS to provide a frictionless UI.  Saferep’s software takes advantage of the most sophisticated standards-based web technologies providing users with intuitive, easy-to-use applications.
